Wes Siler is not your typical Democrat. A working journalist, Wes brings decades of experience from the international fight against disinformation, hatred, and exploitation to Montana’s struggle to protect its wild places, accessibility, and culture from big money interests trying to turn it into a playground for the wealthy.

Wes is running for state senate in order to protect the freedoms Montanans hold dear, including:

  • The freedom to afford to live in the place you love.

  • The freedom to hunt, fish and recreate on unspoiled public lands filled with abundant wildlife. .

  • The freedom to continue to live on a habitable planet.

  • The freedom to love who you love, and be who you are.

  • The freedom to educate your kids how you, the parents, see fit.

  • The freedom for kids to go to school without some creepy politician first looking down their pants.

  • The freedom to participate in the free market, without the success of your business determined by arbitrary tariffs, or fealty to those in power.

  • The freedom of speech, protest, and assembly.

  • The freedom to choose your leaders in fair and open elections.

  • The freedom to choose, how, when and if you want to have a baby.

  • The freedom for all Montanans to access healthcare.

  • The freedom from surveillance and persecution without due process.

  • The freedom to protect your family from a tyrannical government.
